Campaign portrait of Matt cooking on a BBQ

A proper pause for lunch.

Fresh from the grill. Served with care. Time together.

Meet Matt.

Make the most of your office BBQ. Start with one lunch; if it’s a good fit, ask Matt about a regular Wednesday or Thursday gathering. Dates confirmed individually.

A feel for the grill. An eye for the table. Matt knows when to turn it, when to leave it alone, and when someone needs another plate.

Matt brings extensive experience in high-end restaurants to a more relaxed setting: your place. Thoughtful preparation, beautifully cooked food and the quiet attention that makes people feel looked after.

The office, after hours.

Lunch on the terrace. Christmas on the rooftop. Matt tends the grill and looks after the food, with serving and clearing agreed around your gathering.

What’s included?

Matt’s time, from A$320 for four hours. Cooking comes first. Setup, serving and clearing can be included in those hours, with priorities agreed in advance. Shopping and prep require additional paid time. Full-house cleaning, hired equipment, ingredients and delivery are not included.

How many people can Matt cook for?

Tell us your guest count, menu and BBQ size. Small gatherings with a straightforward menu are the best starting point. Matt confirms a manageable scope; larger parties or simultaneous cooking and table service may need another person, quoted separately.

Where does Matt work?

South Melbourne and surrounding suburbs within roughly 10 km, including Albert Park, Port Melbourne, St Kilda, Southbank, the CBD, Docklands, South Yarra, Richmond, Carlton, Fitzroy and Footscray. See the neighbourhoods we cover, or send your venue suburb and we’ll check it with you.

Can Matt do the shopping?

Yes, by agreement. Add paid time for the shopping list, retailer coordination and prep at your venue. You approve the grocery budget and pay the retailer directly. Delivery to your fridge is the simplest way to keep everything ready and chilled.

What about rain, allergies or office rules?

Include allergies, dietary needs, weather cover and building access in your request. A shared BBQ may not suit all allergy needs. Matt will discuss the menu and equipment before accepting. Office terraces need permission for cooking and a safe bad-weather plan.

When is a booking confirmed?

We’ll check your date and talk through the menu, hours and quote with you. Your booking is confirmed once you and Matt have agreed the plan and booking terms. Send an enquiry to start the conversation. Our organiser will get back to you by email with the next steps.

Come together.

Good food from the grill.
Good company around it.
